FemClas 2022: program & registration

We are pleased to announce the program and registration for Feminism & Classics 2022, to take place entirely virtually, Thursday 19 May through Sunday 22 May.

Registration is US$28, deadline is 11:59pm (Eastern USA time) Monday 16 May.  You can register here. Students, unemployed & underemployed scholars, and others with financial considerations: you may request your registration fees be waived by emailing Prof. T. H. M. Gellar-Goad (thmgg at wfu dot edu) with the subject line “FemClas registration waiver.”  Same deadline: Monday 16 May.

The conference includes 32 sessions & panels, a Trans in Classics & Women’s Classical Caucus roundtable on “Feminism Beyond the Binary” (register here, free for WCC members and FemClas registrants), a keynote talk by Mariska Leunissen, a virtual reception hosted by the Women’s Classical Caucus (register here, free for WCC members and FemClas registrants), and a workshop on antiracist themes facilitated by Mathura Umachandran.
